- Download the Python depot here
- Once downloaded, transfer the depot.gz file binary to the /tmp directory on the HPUX machine
- Login as root to HPUX
- cd /tmp
- gunzip python-2.5.2-11.31.depot.gz (actual filename will varry depending on your setup)
- Select software management
