The 2018.1.0 Spectrum release includes an enhancement that expands the limit of monetary fields to $21,400,000 from the previous limit of $10 Million. The expansion does not change the size or type the underlying database fields that store these amounts. A field stored in the database using I2 (as most amount fields are) is capable of storing a value just over $21.4 Million (when expressed in pennies).

This expansion to monetary fields will not impact existing AskPlus / Visimage reports. All existing reports will continue to work without modifications. Of course, it is possible that formats in existing reports may not be large enough to display new amounts that take advantage of the expansion. If the data is too large for the format, the result will be displayed with “*********” and the format size will need to be increased to correctly display the larger amounts.
